yes-941500_1280The Strong Interest Inventory is the most widely used career assessment tool available. It can be used to determine what your basic interests are, what career fields would interest you and what specific jobs you are most likely to be interested in. It is a great tool when you are starting out or when you are contemplating changing careers.

To complete the Strong Interest Inventory you will be required to sign into a secure system and answer a series of 291 questions. These questions use a Likert scale ranging from :strongly like” to “strongly dislike”. All Strong Interest Reports are $75. They are emailed directly to you once the results are calculated and you will have up to one hour to go over the results with a trained specialist in this tool to interpret the results.

Strong Interpretative Report 

The Strong Interpretive Report applys key findings of your assessment to create a potential road map for exploring and pursuing a rewarding work-life balance. This comprehensive career development tool adds meaningful detail to your Strong Profile, including expanded definitions of the six General Occupational Themes and additional career fields and leisure activities. It also contains personal descriptors that characterize satisfied workers in various jobs. The report identifies the top 10 occupations potentially most satisfying to you, providing specifics on the typical work tasks associated with each job, and the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for success.

Strong Profile- College Edition

Making post secondary studies satisfying and rewarding requires both selecting the right academic major and understanding what you need in your personal and learning environments to be successful and happy. The Strong Profile, College Edition, takes the wealth of career interest data provided in the Strong Profile one step further. An additional personalized report helps students explore the path that is right for them by identifying specific post-secondary courses, jobs or internships, and extracurricular activities that will allow them to express their unique interests and personal style.

In Canada the dropout rates for universities vary from institution to institution and province to province but generally between 15-25% of all students who start a degree do not graduate with one.
